Tim,
This team has so clearly folded the tents...I don't know how/when but Lavy has lost the room. Even Mike Milbury is pointing out that the players don't work with the system (hmmm). Either the coach has to be capable of adjusting to the players he has or the GM has to get the players to make the system work. Since neither is happening....we are left with a team that SHOULD be at least able to get in to the playoffs with ease and make some noise. Instead we are all trying to crunch numbers and see if they can squeak in.. if they do, it will only prolong the problems instead of force the next level of painful changes needed...

This team is done. No hunger, no passion, no hockey sense. Time to find a new coach, make trades, and build for next year. At this point I hope the Flyers fall to dead last so they have a chance at picking number 1 overall.

Coaching isn't the problem. This team was bad when they took the ice this season. They lost too many assets last season (JVR, Carle, Jagr, Bob, etc.) and didn't replace any of them. The defense is abysmal and until that is fixed no other changes will matter.

There are teams with less talent that are ahead of the Flyers in the standings. Coaching is a major issue for this team.

I bet last year you were not saying Bob was an asset. As for Carle his numbers are not very good on a high scoring team. Kimmo has much better offensive numbers this year that carle.
